What the title sez. Because I have players in my SR campaign who have a rather severe lack of imagination *sigh*

This place is half living space (Advanced Lifestyle Workplace +1LP) and half workshop/storefront. All the legal stuff is up front, while the 'special stuff' can be procured out back. There's three exits, the storefront entrance, the metal garage door and one quick escape exit hidden in the cabinet in the store room which leads out to the narrow alleyway outside.

All the crates are stacked three-high to make more foot room, the shelves are tall enough that most metahumans can barely see over them (trolls notwithstanding)

Location currently being used in the Shadowrun Kosi mini-campaign I'm running, but feel free to make use of it if you feel so inclined!

Have you checked out the Safehouses PDF-only sourcebook?  Lots of ideas in there that might help!

Ah, I have that one! it's one of my faves to use while building places.

I think I made this before I got Safehouses though, maybe it could use an update.

Yar, it's very useful! I've always liked extra emphasis on character dwellings (not just, I live in this hole, nevermind what's inside kind of thinking) so I can er, do bad things to PCs when they're at home XD

One guy still doesn't know that his home has Wi-Fi blocking paint, and doesn't know why he can get reception =_=;

It's not just a squat, it's home.

I like the cramped quarters feel of it. Would go over pretty well in a blindfire fire-fight, I think. Thanks for the share.

You're welcome & thanks for the fave!

Also an option to consider, is that the things on the shelves and in the crates can be treated as either highly combustible, gaseous or corrosive (depending on the GM's mood) for potential environmental hazards :D

Yeah, I had considered that. It has a very 'food fight' feel to it, except the odds of the goo exploding is a little higher.

I noticed the lack of labeled electronics. I don't know what edition you're running (I always assume 2nd because it's what I run) but have you found any particularly cool decking options with the building? I guess that mostly depends on if your group even runs a decker, though.

I was just thinking along the lines of disabling/enabling the ventilation or some such. I just assumed, actually, but is that hatching just to the right of the garage bay door and connecting the storefront a vent shaft or something else?

The hatching thing is stairs going down. I think I need to be more obvious next time ^^;

I run 4th ed actually. So wireless mostly, and we don't have a dedicated hacker either. I'd say there isn't that much to hack here apart from maybe the ventilation, sales/order records, maybe muss around with the storage locks (the rectangle near the door is an underground, temperature controlled storage unit) or the garage door at very most. There IS however a old-ish terminal on the table near the stairs if your team wants to dig for data.

Oh.... So is the garage lower in level than the storefront with the crates tucked under the stairs?

Yep. The storefront is higher in level than everything else.

The stairs is your typical cheap metal staircase, so yeah there's a lot of junk shoved underneath there to save on space :)

That is nice. You did this by yourself in PS, right? Do you have the layered file? If so, try putting in some textures! Or shoot it to me.

Yeah, I do have it in layers.I'm not exactly sure how to go about the textures. A brief experiment in that made it look horrible :P

Sure, I'll shoot you the file ^^
