Cyberarm wip by tarynsgate Cyberarm wip by tarynsgate
Heavily inspired by :iconhellwolve:'s bionic hand. I'll be making a 2nd version using a nylon glove further down the line because I'm not too happy at how it wrinkles ^^; cheap cotton glove for you.

Please ignore my messy desk ^^;

Awesome! I always loved the whole concept of bionic arms. They are really cool and awesome!
You did a very good job with the design. :thumbsup:

Thanks :)

I'm not the one who came up with the original design though, I simply adapted it :D

Your craft-works never cease to amaze me ;U;
I still remember with clarity the mechanical, articulated hand you were wearing when we first spoke xD

Yeah, we did chat for a while about the "magnum break the stage!" x'D
Though it was really that hand that really struck up the conversation :3 I recall you came to our booth?

That's one epic comment that I shall never forget x'D It certainly got my attention that "omg, RO cosplays still exist ;U; we're not too late to the 'show'" lol It gave us confidence to cosplay more RO characters in the future, hence the whole cleric class in my closet x'D

Haha XD and that stage piece will always have my little dent in the middle :3

To be fair, I still see RO cosplayers from time to time :3 mostly derivatives of the priest class but I found some random ones last CF and the year before that;

A novice, a Valkyrie Randgris (giant wingspan and all) a few high priests/bishops/whatever the hell they're called (both male and female) a Soul Linker too!

RO is clearly not dead :)

Looks like healer class is very popular x'D uh-oh, gotta find something else to cosplay- <--- all talk and no cosplay; plus lost the contact to the costume maker

Ro is a classic, it CANNOT be dead >:3

I've been told before my work inspired people, but it's fun to (finally) see a physical project of said inspiration :D The start looks good; have fun with version 2.0 :)

C'mon, I can't be the only one ^^;

And thanks! I'm currently trying to figure out how to prevent the large arm plate from moving around too much because I'm afraid it might peel off from too much movement and sewing on nylon is a nightmare :D

So far, you are the only one to have shown me pics, actually ;)

I have one word for you: glue :P I didn't sew anything; I just glued the plates on there :)
